Spelt Flour
The Health Food Emporium Spelt is a grain that’s similar to wheat in appearance but has a tougher husk that helps protect the nutrients inside the grain. Spelt flour has a mild nutty, sweet flavour and it can be used in any recipes that require normal wheat flour. Although spelt contains gluten, it has less than whole wheat or white flour. As a result, substituting spelt flour for white flour, can make baked goods more digestible for people with sensitivity to gluten.
