Virgin coconut oil is made from the fresh mature kernel of the coconut. Its high smoke point makes it excellent for use in frying and baking as a replacement for butter.

 Properties:

• Odourless coconut oil, unrefined and bleach free
• Mechanically pressed
• Solid at room temperature, it turns to liquid at 24°C
• High healthy fat content makes it great for replacing other fats in baking - use 1:1

Uses:

• Virgin coconut oil is primarily used as a healthy cooking oil.
• It can be added to smoothies.
• Used as a replacement for margarine or butter on bread, or taken with coffee.
• Virgin coconut oil is also used as a skin moisturizer and hair conditioner.
